Tristan Dunning is a sessional academic at Griffith University and an honorary research fellow at the University of Queensland in Australia. He is the author of “Hamas, Jihad and Popular Legitimacy: Reinterpreting Resistance in Palestine” and the editor of “Palestine: Past and Present.”
