WPR Facelift

As you might have noticed, WPR has undergone a bit of a cosmetic makeover, so you might want to do a control-F5 or whatever it is you need to do to clear out your browser’s cache for the site. We’ll be smoothing out any rough edges that we notice over the next few days, but your help would be invaluable in that process. A quick heads up via email for any glitches you encounter would be greatly appreciated.

In addition to the new look, the changes on the front page are meant to organize the content in a more effective way. The day’s top news analysis or opinion piece now appears on the upper left, with recent ones listed in the column just below. The twice monthly theme issues are now featured prominently for the duration in the center of the top row. And our regular columnists have a home in the column just below that. A selection of items from each days Media Roundup is listed just beside that, with direct links to source articles, but many more items of interest are on the dedicated Media Roundup page.

The design is also meant to prepare the way for the introduction of our subscription product, which will be coming in January. More on that later.

We’ll be doing a more formal roll-out once we’ve worked out all the kinks. But in the meantime, take a spin and let us know what you think.
