WPR on Your iPhone or Blackberry
By Hampton Stephens

No, your eyes aren't lyin'. The picture above indeed shows WPR's new "WPR Mobile" application, which is now available for Blackberry and iPhone.
So, now you can read WPR's briefings, columns and blog posts when you're out and about.
If you're like me, you'll find that you often use the mobile application even you're not out and about. I've been testing the iPhone application for a couple of weeks now, and I must admit that there are times when I've opted for reading WPR on my phone, even when a computer is within reach, just because the app is so darn easy to use.
We have the folks at Polar Mobile, which helped us develop the application, to thank for that. And I mention them not only because they did a fine job and I want to give them credit, but also because they're, um, Canadian. So all our readers north of the border -- and we know there are a lot of them -- really have no excuse not to check out the mobile apps.
So, enough of my giddy rambling (yes, I get excited by digital technology). How do you get the applications?
Blackberry users simply navigate to http://www.polarmobile.com/wpr in your phone's browser, click on the icon on your homescreen, and then click "run" to start the application.
iPhone users can search for "WPR Mobile" or "World Politics Review" in the iPhone app store, or click here to download it via iTunes.
Oh, and I forgot to mention one thing: Both applications are free.
