Taiwan-U.S. Relations: Developments and Policy Implications
Kerry Dumbaugh | Congressional Research Service | 2009-05-01
This May 1, 2009, report of the Congressional Research Service looks at U.S.-Taiwan Relations.
The report attempts to shed light on such pressing U.S. policy questions as "how far the U.S. should go in trying to accommodate PRC sensitivities about Taiwan;" and "whether the United States should change its policy of not arbitrating or facilitating negotiations between Taiwan and the PRC in favor of a more direct, interventionist approach."
