G-8 Africa Action Plan
The Group of Eight | 2002-06-01
The G-8 Africa Action Plan was launched at the 2002 Kananaskis Summit with the aim of helping to resolve African conflicts directly, as well as to enhance the capacity of the African Union and its sub-regional organizations to do so independently. The G-8 has also worked closely with NATO, the European Union, and especially the U.N. in managing these African conflicts.
