India, the United States and the Global Commons

This report calls for deeper U.S.-India cooperation in protecting the air, sea, space, and cyberspace commons and provides specific recommendations for ways to deepen the relationship in these shared spaces. "As the United States explores the development of a new strategy toward the commons, where does India fit in?" the report asks. "Policymakers in Washington and Delhi are debating the answer to this fundamental question. Some in the United States have begun to see India as a natural partner in securing the commons."
